Now a question I hear a lot of people ask is how do you network if you are an introvert? Well, you asked the right guy.

You might be surprised to learn that I am mostly an introvert. I self-describe myself as an extroverted introvert, meaning I rise to the occasion when I need to be extroverted, but otherwise I am naturally introverted. This has also been termed an ambivert defined as: normally comfortable with groups and enjoys social interaction, but also relishes time alone and away from the crowd.

My mentor Jim Rohn put it best when he said, “I’m a very private person living a very public life.” That’s me too!

When you’d ask Jim what he was after, what he was striving for, he’d answer, “Quiet and solitude.” I certainly get my rest and recovery the same way.

DON’T Fake It Till You Make It

We often hear the phrase, “Fake it till you make it.”

I know the loving intent people have when saying it, but it has dangerous consequences.

It’s a common catchphrase that suggests you imitate confidence so that the confidence produces success, which will seemingly generate real confidence.
